In this ending, Javi saves Kate, and Clementine saves Gabe, however, David is killed. 2 - The second best ending would have to be: Javier goes after Kate, while Clementine goes after Gabe and David.
The writing for this ending was amazing, with Kate being found as a walker. I personally didn't like Kate, but loved David and Gabe, so seeing them survive and not Kate made me happy.
Due to this being the only ending that has David alive, it's my favorite. I feel like the buildup to this game's ending is best paid off with Kate dying and Javier eventually having a good relationship with his brother again. 1 - My personal favorite ending: Javier and Clementine go after Gabe and David, and David is brought back to Richmond.I'm going to rate every ending in The Walking Dead: A New Frontier based on three factors: surviving characters, writing, and overall buildup.
